Two Free Fairs at Dulwich Festival

The Dulwich Festival ends this weekend but it’s not going out quietly. There are still plenty of activities to choose from including a pair of fairs.

Love West Dulwich Spring Fair is a free local community fair, celebrating the best of the area. Taking place throughout the whole of West Dulwich, family-friendly activities include market stalls, crafts for children, dancing, face painting, street food and beer, fair rides, farm animals and live music. The local independent shops and businesses also organise activities and in-store promotions on the day.

Dulwich Park Fair is a free outdoor event that includes a fun fair, Vauxhall City Farm, Punch and Judy, the Magician, interactive performances and a dog show. The stage by the café will feature local musicians, brass bands, choirs and dance acts of all ages. There will be a huge variety of food, craft, drink and charity stalls.

Recreate Constable in LEGO at the Tate

Time for some high-brow LEGO building, kids. This Saturday children of all ages can help build a life-size replica of John Constable’s masterpiece ‘Salisbury Cathedral from the Meadows’ in LEGO Bricks. Each participant will be able to create a unique section of the artwork mosaic.

Lab Live: Curiosity with OKIDO

The Institute of Imagination has teamed up with OKIDO, the independent arts and science magazine for young children and their families, for Lab Live: Curiosity with OKIDO. After a sell-out event last September, they decided to host another 2-day Lab Live event and this year they are exploring curiosity, where it can take us and what wonders can be discovered when curiosity is encouraged.

Variety Show for Kids at Underbelly Festival

A show packed with comedy, circus, magic, music, thrills, skills, spectacle, and silliness rom some of the UK’s best variety performers. All completely family-friendly, as circus was meant to be!
