Family Day at Keats House: Mystic Maps of London
Join in this free family workshop presented by artist Louisa Albani and inspired by William Blake’s mystic map of London. Participants are encouraged to become imaginative architects of their own ‘golden’ cities by creating unique maps.
Albani’s art exhibition ‘William Blake’s Mystic Map of London’ will be on display at Keats House from 6 – 30 June (entry included with admission to the House).

Highgate Fair in the Square
The Fair in the Square is a free community event run entirely by volunteers in Highgate, North London. There is always lots for the younger visitors to enjoy, both as participants and spectators. Activities include ‘Look Up’, an acrobatic show by Jacksons Lane, the sheep shearing show, fairground rides, musical and drama activities in the Childrens’ Tent, fire engine from Kentish Town Fire Station, music and dancing performances on the stage, and more. Plus loads of lovely food options.

Airfix Workshop at National Army Museum
Because parenting can often feel like battle, it seems right to take your spawn to build a hulking war vehicle on Father’s Day. At this Airfix workshop participants will get hands-on and constructing and painting their own model tank.

Carters Steam Fair in Clissold Park
This is the swoon-worthy nostalgic fair; the cute one you feel good about taking your family to (as opposed to the one with busty ladies spray-painted on the dodgems). Carters Steam Fair has rides dating from the 1890s to the 1960s that are powered by steam, by electric and even by hand. This weekend it can be found in Stoke Newington but check their website for a full schedule of upcoming locations.

Children’s Garden at Kew Gardens
