Do: February Fun with The Royal Parks Foundation, Hyde Park

The Isis Education Centre at the LookOut in Hyde Park is perfectly placed to host a range of outdoor activities exploring nature in the park. It is a unique eco-friendly building, set in an acre of enclosed grounds, and an ideal base for outdoor learning. Facilities include state-of-the-art equipment and web cams in nest boxes and underwater. With a wide variety of habitats to study, from log piles to meadows and ponds, there’s no end to discovery.

The Royal Parks Foundation delivers a wide-ranging and accessible outdoor education programme at the Isis Education Centre. The schools’ programme for primary and secondary schools is linked to the National Curriculum, and there is a year-round programme of informal activities for individuals and groups to join, from guided walks to hands-on sessions.

Over Half Term and throughout the month of February, there are a range of activities that kids (and you) can enjoy and connect with nature in the middle of the city. Some require booking and others are drop in.
