Hop to it little bunnies, Easter holidays are approaching and that means two weeks of kids off from school and a four day weekend for many parents! Plenty of time to try out a few of the many family-friendly activities happening in London. We’ve gathered up some fun ideas for you and your kids to try:

Easter Workshops and More at Pickled Pepper Books

So many fun activities to choose from this Easter at the two branches of this fantastic independent children’s bookshop! Activities include: flower finger painting, drama workshop, a mini theatre show, LEGO workshop, marble run workshop, Easter illustration workshop and MORE.

Bunny Hunt with Historical Twist at Hampton Court

Use the trail map to explore the palace gardens and find the Lindt GOLD BUNNY statues that are hiding there. Match up the name of the important palace character on the trail to the red ribbon on the bunny statue at each location.

With each bunny you find, a fascinating story will be revealed about that important palace character. When you have finished, you can collect a chocolate bunny reward!

Dear Zoo Experience at London Zoo

A family experience celebrating 40 years since the publication of Rod Campbell’s classic storybook Dear Zoo! Embark on an interactive activity trail, enjoy lively story-time sessions and of course learn all about the zoo’s amazing animals while seeing them up close.

Families can also immerse themselves in the world of Campbell’s new book Look After Us, about looking after animals in danger: Complete tasks to help save orangutans in the forest, camels in the desert and even whales in the ocean in this fun, interactive experience. There will be themed storytelling sessions of the new book.

How to Train Your Drago ‘Egg-stinction’ Watch at Shrek’s Adventure!

Young guests can become ace dragon conservationists this immersive and interactive fairy-tale experience on the South Bank. In new fun-filled activities based around the popular How to Train Your Dragon franchise, visitors will be able to join Vikings Speedifist and Clueless to challenge their senses and discover all there is to know about dragons in order to save the species! Experience what dragon food, skin, eggs – and even poo – feels and smells like.

Sadler’s Wells Family Weekend

Children and their families are invited to this jam-packed festival including exciting performances and activities. balletLORENT present a new Sadler’s Wells Co-Production The Lost Happy Endings. Xenia Aidonopoulou and Georgia Tegou bring their new multi-sensory dance theatre piece Underwater, for babies aged 0 to 24 months. Children can also get involved in activities including workshops, games and arts and crafts.
