westlondonmum.co.uk

An established TV and Radio presenter, Jamie Theakston has become a household name in Britain thanks to roles on mainstream terrestrial shows such as Live and Kicking, Top of the Pops and more recently as the co-host of the station’s flagship Heart Breakfast show working alongside Harriet Scott.  Since January he has been joined on the weekday morning slot by new co-presenter Emma Bunton.

He lives with his wife and two sons in Chiswick, west London  and has a keen interest in property and interior design.

What are you reading at the moment?

I’m reading By The Sword by Richard Cohen – it’s a history of sword fighting – I still fence occasionally (that’s sword fighting, as opposed to handling stolen goods).

What do you do for down time?

I sleep and go to the pub. On occasion, simultaneously…

Where is your favourite place to eat in West London?

There’s nothing better than a sunny afternoon sat outside the River Cafe.

If you had to make a quick escape where would you go?

To the mountains…

What is on your bedside table?

A phone charger, some Cuprofen and an unread copy of The Week.

Three things you’d take with you to a desert island?

An ipad, a charger and some sort of solar power source.

Who would you most like to meet for a drink?

My Grandfather, who I never had the chance to meet properly.

What is your greatest extravagance?

1960s Italian chandeliers – my wife thinks I need therapy.

What is your favorite thing to do as a family?

Buy ice cream on Chiswick High Rd then back for Fish and Chips and Final Score…
