This year, you may have seen our Giant Snail sliding through the Royal Parks, from Bushy Park in the west to Greenwich Park in the east. Packed with activities for everyone to enjoy, our Giant Snail gives families the opportunity to get up close with nature and learn about the wonderful world of invertebrates.
The tour is nearly over, but this half-term, the Giant Snail will be returning—with a twist. We will be pulling up in Brompton Cemetery with a range of activities both creepy and crawly. There will be spine-tingling storytelling, creepy crafts, bizarre bug hunts, catacomb crawling, minibeast munching, frightening feely boxes and more!
Come dressed as your favourite invertebrate to receive an extra treat. Cemeteries make great homes for invertebrates like spiders, moths and beetles. Why not come and see what you can find?
Hop aboard the Giant Spooky Snail at the Great Circle in Brompton Cemetery from 11am to 3pm on Monday and Tuesday, the 23rd and 24th October 2017, and join Mission: Invertebrate for a free family day of frightening fun!
