Mini VAULT Festival: Trip the light fantastic with the kids in tow

MINI-RUMPUS1

Looking for a rave/circus/comedy show you can take the kids to? You’ll find that and more in the tunnels under Waterloo station when Mini VAULT returns, starting this very weekend and running until the 5th of March. The family festival offers free entry at three weekends and features storytelling, live music and interactive installations. The amusement is aimed at kids up to age 11, and there’s even fun for babies, including an under-3s dance show and free soft play, plus pirates, clowns, magicians and, curiously, jellyfish.

Join workshops including Imagination Workouts, Print Making and Palm Reading; see a circus by Pirates of the Carabina; or watch Sheriff Bigbottom in the show A Pony for Your Thoughts. The festival will also run two parties for all ages: a rave on the 6th of February put on by Big Fish Little Fish (with tickets at £12 for kids and £15 for adults), and the Under the Sea Mini Rumpus on the 5th of March (tickets at £8 kids and £12 for adults).

The weekends of the 30th and 31st of January, the 13th and 14th of February and the 27th and 28th of February are free entry. The price of each show or activity varies, ranging from no cost to £12. Click here for the full Mini VAULT programme and go down to the tunnels to get down.
