Now that we know who will lead the government in Westminster (more or less), it’s time to report the result of The MotherHood’s exercise in democracy: the winner of London’s Best Mummy Blogger.
We are thrilled to announce that the winner is Lorna Hayward for her blog The Mumblings! Lorna’s personal tales of the many trials of motherhood has readers in hysterics of recognition. Such brutal and hilarious honesty (and perhaps her liberal use of profanity) propelled The Mumblings to the top of the poll.
When we told Lorna she had won, here’s what she said: “Well, I was not expecting that. I am absobloodylutely over the chuffing moon. Having made a huge amount of change, and taken many a risk in the pursuit of a better balance, and indulged my passion to write honestly about being a mum and beyond—winning London’s Best Mummy Blogger is the icing on my massive happy cake.
