What inspired you to start mybluetasks.com?
After moving back to London, I was trying to find a cleaner for my new flat. After getting increasingly frustrated and at endless phone calls to negotiate quotes, check references and find someone who could come when I needed, I had a light bulb moment. My co-founder had similar problems, and so mybluetasks was born – we wanted to make booking household services as easy as booking a flight around the world.
How does it work?
You simply enter your postcode, select the household service you want, and the date and time that you want it. Our database finds a fully referenced, vetted and rated professional that is available. Book and pay all in less than a minute – it’s that easy.

What services do you offer?
At the moment, we offer all cleaning services (home cleaning, office cleaning, carpet cleaning, window cleaning, end of tenancy cleaning and ironing). We also offer handyman services (IKEA furniture assembly, hanging pictures/shelves, odd jobs) and general labour (moving help, gardening, events help, heavy lifting). It is perfect for most mums who always need a helping hand around the house!
What is the most rewarding aspect of what you do? Knowing that our service have helped people save a lot of time and effort. mybluetasks was created to eliminate any hassle and when we receive feedback about the quick and easy nature of our service – it’s really rewarding for us.
