Lettie Belle—Plastic to Fantastic!

Lettie Belle—Plastic to Fantastic!

Laura Marsden graduated from Chelsea College of Art and Design specialising in textiles.  Her grown up work focuses on intricate lace motifs made out of recycled plastic bottles, but while pregnant and busy sourcing nursery décor, Laura saw a gap in the market for timeless, eco friendly nursery products and started to create her own for her daughter’s room.

The result was so well received that she started Lettie Belle, a nursery line which encompasses a range of cushions, cute brooches, tote bags and creative felt play toys all made from eco-felt and organic cotton with leather detailing.  The cushions are made out of cotton and all hand-stitched appliques are made from felt derived from recycled plastic bottles.  Lettie Belle works great in a nursery/toddler room or any room where you want to add a little punch of colour and humour.  WLM loves the Owl cushions…

Cushions start at £25. Brooches for a set of 4 cost £16.50.

Laura will be at The Notting Hill Design Fair on December 1-3 at the 20th Century Theatre, Westbourne Grove.
