Where are you right now?
On my sofa, with my husband. The kids are in bed and we are both back on our computers catching up on work!
What do you do for ‘me-time’?
Go out for a catch up with a girlfriend, usually a bottle of prosecco and a burger do the trick!
Where is your favourite place to eat in West London?
My new favourite restaurant is Burger and Lobster! £20 and you can have either, no other options – genius!! But they are in the West End. Closer to home I love Ottomettzo on Thackeray Street for awesome Italian and people that genuinely love kids (and dogs)
Career and children – top tip on how do you do it?
Don’t be too hard on yourself! Everything is a balancing act and sometimes you just can’t do it all. Accept help and just do the best that you are able to.
If you had to make a quick escape where would you go?
Babington House – we got married there. It is quite simply my favourite place and so full of happy memories for us.
What is on your bedside table?
Glass of water, tub of Vicks and a Steve Jobs bio that I have been meaning to read for ever!
Three things you’d take with you to a desert island?
My husband, my laptop and a mountain of chocolate.
Who would you most like to meet for a drink?
Tim Minchin – I am obsessed with him. Seeing Matilda changed my world. He is such a genius, and sooooo talented. Followed by Will.I.Am. for the same reasons. I really admire people that are unique and make the world a better place.
What is your greatest extravagance?
Having a lie in and doing absolutely nothing – it is a distant memory but a wistful thought!
What is your favourite thing to do as a family?
Pyjama days where we stay in pj’s all day and slob out are our favourite! It is rare in our house that we are able to this, with all the play dates, parties and general family stuff…but every once in a while we get one. We pick recipes to try out from various people (Fiona Faulkner is my fave at the moment) then all muck in to knock up a feast. Pick stuff to watch on telly and snuggle up on the sofa.
