Sponsored by The Museum of London
Help transform the capital at the Museum of London’s free family events every day during half-term, 10 to 18 February 2018.
Learn how to care for our natural environment at interactive workshops. Visit a recreation of Camley Street nature reserve and learn about pond life, reeds, bugs and bees, become a guerrilla gardener and make your own seed bombs or sow salad seeds into a model of London before taking them home to watch them grow.
Join interactive storytelling sessions exploring the city’s past and future. Make a fantasy creature and bring it to a special retelling of The Bog Baby or travel back to 1890 and experience Sir Edward Watkin’s famous architectural design competition. Become an engineer or an archaeologist and take part in an interactive journey in their galleries with the help of the museum’s curators and archaeology team.
Plus, create your own shoes from recycled materials taking inspiration from the museum’s collection or design an artistic arrangement of flowers for a living wall display.
With all this and more, you can entertain the kids during half-term while exploring what you love about our city at the Museum of London.
