Work Free launches – free workhub and creche

A new and FREE co-working space called Work Free at the Library Lab is launching at Willesden Green Library.  Starting on May 10th, parents will be able to drop off their children aged 0-4 for up to 4 hours so they can get some work done in the lab.  All for free.  The only criteria is that parents must remain in the building.

Work Free aims to enable parents and children to benefit from this growing and progressive trend. Work Free exists not just to build businesses, but to make a difference to parents by helping them to learn from and connect with others that can help them achieve a better balance between work and family.  “I believe there is real need for local co-working and creche spaces, but current planning constraints and a lack of incentives for commercial landlords makes the delivery of these spaces more than a bit tricky!” says Gaynor Pates, the woman and local mum of two behind the concept.

In addition to the co-working space and creche on offer, the lab will also be putting on a series of info sessions such as: introduction to Reflexology, job hunting and business support, website management, and much more…

The initiative is funded by Brent Council under the New Windows on Willesden Green project and will run until June 29, 2012. The space provides wifi and also has tea and coffee, only thing missing is the water cooler! Creche space is limited to 9, to secure your space in advance please call Gaynor on 07799337475 or [email protected]
