Walthamstow Wetlands Easter Egg Decorating and Hunt
From blossoming buds to springing chicks, this is an exciting time to visit the wetlands. This weekend kids are invited to turn nature detective, following an egg hunt around Walthamstow Wetlands – find all ten hidden eggs you’ll win a chocolate prize. They’ll also be egg decorating inside the Turbine Room.

MONSTERSAURUS! at Underbelly Festival Southbank
A brand-new show from the creators of Aliens Love Underpants. Follow the young inventor Monty as he creates a whole world of whacky inventions and incredible monsters, but he has a problem -now he has made them all, what is he going to do with them? An energetic show with original music and plenty of audience participation.

Easter Fair at Horniman Museum and Gardens
Learn to dance the Lindy hop, explore an Easter trail, create something crafty and enjoy a special storytelling performance inspired by The Hen That Laid The Golden Egg. There’s so much going on at the Horniman this weekend.

Chelsea Physic Garden Egg Hunt and Guided Tours
Scamper around these gorgeous gardens looking for the Easter Bunny’s clues, your reward at the end is a Rococo chocolate surprise. You can also join a guided tours, to learn some of the fascinating stories of people and plants connected with the garden over time; visit the garden’s historic glasshouses and take a break in the café.
Be sure to check out the Cercis siliquastrum (Judas tree) this time of year it’s covered in a mass of pink frothy blossom.
