WLM recently caught up with Tup Tup Toys, an online retailer which caters for children aged 0-10 and offers a great selection of toys.  Co-founder and mum of two Armineh Pogosian handpicks a perfectly edited collection of toys sourced from all over the world. The thing I like most about this retailer is that there is a good amount of “hands-on” educational products and has price points to meet every budget.

What inspired you to start Tup Tup Toys?

The idea for Tup Tup Toys took hold back in 2006, after several years travelling the world.  I had my son (now 6), while in Boston and my daughter (now 3) in Vancouver.  Tup Tup started for many different reasons but mostly because during our travels, I found it surprisingly hard to find good baby toys.  The more I looked into it, the more I started to find them – some wonderful toys from both Europe and the States. When I got back to the UK, I teamed up with an old university friend and together we launched Tup Tup – the best of everything I’ve found from around the World, together in one place.  We do source eco-friendly toys where possible but our emphasis is on good quality toys that are educational, inspiring and most importantly of all fun!  Years after the first ‘itch’, I’m really proud to think we’ve put together a site that’s so unique.

How would you describe Tup Tup Toys?
