The Cat in The Hat at The Turbine Theatre

Based on the much-loved book by Dr Seuss, The Cat in the Hat is a lively and engaging first theatre experience for young children.From the moment his tall, red-and-white-striped hat appears around the door, Sally and her brother know that the cat in the hat is the funniest, most mischievous cat they have ever met. London Transport Museum

As if buses and trains weren’t exciting enough – throughout the holiday season Santa will be at the London Transport Museum – either in his twinkling cosy seating corner or larking about in the museum. There’s also storytime and singing sessions for the little ones, and an opportunity to make transport themed bunting and decorations to take home.

Nine Lessons and Carols for Curious People Family Matinee

One for older kids! Robin Ince (The Infinite Monkey Cage, Book Shambles) is back to host this annual celebration combining ideas, experiments, science, songs, comedy, poetry. As always, expect a huge bill of amazing guests. This year, for the first time ever, there’s a special matinee edition of the show specifically curated for families. Profits from these shows will be going to charities.
