Ho Ho hovering close to Christmas now, and boy wouldn’t you know it by what’s on in London this weekend. So many family friendly activities in the city are starting to focus on festive lights and holiday themed activities. If the weather is too cold or wet for you to be chilling outdoors with the kids, there are some great indoor activities great for all ages this weekend. Enjoy!

 

Winterfest 2019: Christmas in Technicolour

Experience Wembley Park’s first-ever immersive winter lights trail. Artists from all over the world have curated light and sound artworks. Be sure to check out the acclaimed Sonic Runway, making its European debut in Wembley Park via Nevada’s Burning Man festival, and London’s tallest-ever LED light Christmas Tree.

Hyde Park Winter Wonderland

Hyde Park is about to get a lot more sparkly as Winter Wonderland opens this weekend. They’ll be funfair rides, family theatre shows, magical ice kingdom, outdoor ice skating, Santa’s grotto and more. It’s back! The freaky cool interactive sandpit experience returns to Southbank Centre.

Enchanted Woodland at Syon Park

Wrap up warm and discover Syon Park’s Enchanted Woodland, where an illuminated trail winds round the ornamental lake and through the historic arboretum of Syon House, ending at the spectacular Great Conservatory. With street food pop-up if all the dark park walking gets you hungry.
