A little bird recently introduced us to new local site 10 Little Birds – started by Fulham based mum Tanya Shaw. The concept is simple – they don’t sell anything for over a tenner. Suitable for newborns to big kids, there’s something for everyone – from cool crafts to funky toys…
“Our inspiration for the site came from our own experience, searching for well thought out, imaginative gifts at the most affordable prices.” Their ethos stretches beyond the pocketbook and are conscious about selling some ranges from fair-trade businesses, products that incorporate recycled materials and from the outset they donate a percentage of their profits to the brilliant Kids Company – a charity who provide practical, emotional and educational support to vulnerable inner-city children, providing a safe, caring, family environment.
