Local Spotlight: Stamptastic

Three Richmond mums have brought labeling into the 21st century with their invention Stamptastic.  Say goodbye to hours spent ironing or sewing  those pesky little labels.  Stamptastic uses a unique ink that can be applied to fabric, plastic, metal or wood and lasts wash after wash.  Perfect for the whole family.  Label school uniforms to tupperware all in one go! Retails for £16.99.

WLM recently caught up with the Mums of Stamptastic:

What inspired you to start Stamptastic?
We are 3 busy Mums (Emma, Francesca and Rie) with 8 children under the age of 9 and we were all totally fed up with the current labeling options out there.

What challenges have you faced?
Fitting in everything in around the commitments that our 8 children have. Summer and Christmas holidays are our busiest work period when it’s also our busiest time with our families too.

What advice would you give new mumpreneurs?
Don’t be scared to go for it, but be realistic about what you can achieve within time constraints.

What advice do you wish you listened to?
To set definite working hours. We eventually did and now feel a lot calmer and in control.

What’s your favourite book to read your child?
‘You Choose’ by Goodheart and Sharratt; ‘Harry and his bucketful of Dinosaurs’ by Whybrow and Reynold.

What’s your favourite kids shop in west London?
Ace Comics, Story Explorers, and Enchanted Forest in Richmond.

What’s your favourite shop in west London?
Poundland, Robert Dyas and Mia Wood.

Where do you and your family like to hang out?
Richmond Park, Kew Gardens, and enjoying an ice cream by the river (in summer of course!)
