The Antique Chair is a new gastro pub with a twist. Located on Lille Road this newly opened venue, doesn’t just have that stash of crayons in the corner, in fact the venue almost exclusively caters to its youngest patrons and their parents. Offering a wide range of events every week for mothers and babies in a beautiful setting. From a delicious deli full of scrumptious goodies, baby changing facilities, a special kids menu, outdoor space with a playhouse and sand pit, plenty of space inside to store all that baby gear and most of all, child-friendly staff.
Run by the same team behind Betty Blythe and The Pear Tree, The Antique Chair provides a welcome haven from the hustle and bustle of west London. Mothers are invited to use the venue as a meeting spot throughout the day and the venue has also lined up a selection of family friendly events to enjoy.
Starting off with the well known and loved institution Munchkin Music who are holding drop in sessions every Monday from early September. Munchkin Music classes incorporate live singing and playing instruments, lots of movement, a story, some puppets, sometimes an introduction to a musical instrument and the very popular bubbles.
Every Wednesday join the Highchair Society at the venue—an afternoon get together for mums to enjoy learning, meeting new mothers, being pampered and classes. Also, from 12-6pm each week, mums and their little ones are invited to drop in and take advantage of the on site beautician and massage therapist. There will also be a professional guest each week holding sessions on various subjects ranging from ‘How to get kids to sleep’, ‘Tips to help the weaning process’ and more…
