Adams Cafe – Askew Road, W12

My first experience of Adams Cafe was after a long day of house DIY.  The idea of cooking was not an option so we walked over and enjoyed a delicious meal and warm hospitality.  I’ve always had a soft spot for North African cuisine, especially since we went to Morocco for our honeymoon.

After having lived abroad for many years, owners Abdel Boukraa and his English wife  Frances decided to settle in the Shepherds Bush area and open the first Tunisian restaurant – Adams Cafe.

Adams Cafe has become a staple on the Askew Road, a  gem that all the locals know about which offers the best of both cultures –  during the day it’s a local cafe serving English breakfasts and lunches and at night it transforms into a Tunisian/Moroccan restaurant, offering authentic tagines and scrumptious couscous dishes.  The menu is very reasonably priced and the portions are quite large – an adult and child can share a main.

If a getaway isn’t on the cards, then drop into Adams Cafe and let your taste buds go on a journey – you won’t be disappointed!
